Our current veil collection is cathedral length throughout — the longest, most formal style, reaching well past the train for the walk down the aisle. Each is $395 and made with French lace, either as a mantilla-style veil where the lace frames the face and shoulders, or as a clean tulle veil with a lace border along the edge. We don’t currently stock shorter blusher, fingertip or elbow-length veils.
Widths run from 2.5m to 3.5m, so the amount of lace and fullness varies between styles even at the same length.
A mantilla veil carries lace across the whole piece, including where it frames your face and shoulders, and suits a simpler gown since the veil itself carries the detail. A clean lace-edge cathedral veil keeps a plain tulle body with lace only along the border, which sits better with a heavily embellished or beaded dress. If your gown already has strong lace or beading, a clean-edge veil usually photographs better than a second layer of lace.
