Most of the photos taken before a wedding happen in a robe, not the dress — hair and makeup, the first look with the bridal party, the walk to get dressed. Our collection covers satin robes that hold a clean line and catch the light, lace and lace-trimmed styles for a softer, more romantic frame, and sheer chiffon or tulle robes for a layered look over a slip.
Lengths run from hip-skimming cover-ups to full-length dressing gowns, and one style comes hooded for a cleaner silhouette in photos.
Satin is the most photo-reliable choice — it holds its shape and reflects light evenly, which matters under the bright lights most getting-ready photos are taken in. Lace adds texture and pattern but photographs more softly. Sheer and tulle styles work best layered over a slip or bodysuit rather than worn alone.
Our robes are cut in sizes 8, 10 and 12. If that doesn’t cover you, get in touch before ordering — some styles run generously and others don’t.
